The origin of this evening follows a meeting between Coen and Ariane ter Kuile, the owners, and these young students in their first year of BTS in Development and Animation of Territorial Projects. These students must join an existing project as part of their exam preparation, and the “Cinema in Winter” evenings organized in previous years by Le Club des 400 coups fit into this framework.

A team effort

Antoine, Camille, Romane, and Timéo, supervised by their instructor Philippe Faure, created the ticket office for this evening and set up a raffle. This will help fund a Erasmus project in late June, as well as another educational project in Noirmoutier, where they will go as part of the sector evaluation, a prerequisite for a territorial project.

The students also selected the two films that will be simultaneously projected in the Parias room with the sound through headphones. These films are “Project X,” a police comedy directed by Nima Nourizadeh released in 2012, and “Love is Overrated,” a more recent comedy directed by Mourad Winter and released in 2025.

This experience allowed the students to prepare for communication, promotion, animation, project management, analysis, and reflection on developing a territory. This teamwork completely delighted the budding organizers who will be available to the public for the “Silent Cinema” evenings.

On Saturday, March 28, the Parias room will open its doors from 5 pm. Customers will have access to pinball machines as well as the bar and on-site dining.
