Good news for movie buffs as well as simple fans of summer evenings, “Cinema under the stars” is making its comeback in Toulouse with a particularly generous program. More than 70 screenings will be organized until September throughout the city.
Cinema classics screened absolutely everywhere
The principle is simple: transform parks, squares, cultural sites and public spaces in open-air cinemas. This year again, the projections will travel to the four corners of the metropolis. We can thus watch a film at Aeroscopia museum, at the Flight of the Pioneers, in several Toulouse districts but also in different neighboring towns such as BeauzelleBrax, Cugnaux or Villeneuve-Tolosane.
And in terms of programming, there will be something for absolutely everyone. Family films, cartoons, blockbusters, popular comedies or even more confidential works will share the stage throughout the summer.
The best cinema of the summer has neither roof nor walls
Some evenings are accompanied concerts, activities, shared meals or events organized by neighborhood associations. The film almost becomes an excuse to get outside and enjoy the long summer evenings. The adventure began on June 5, notably with Pattie and the Wrath of Poseidon et Paddington au Péroubefore giving way to dozens of other meetings until the start of the school year.
And between us, watch Top Gun, Jumanji or Our happy days in a deckchair while the sun has just set is probably one of the best ways to enjoy a summer evening in Toulouse!
