Adapted from the famous science fiction novel by Frank Herbert, this ambitious work plunges the audience into a futuristic universe where great families, galactic empires and mysterious forces clash. Carried in particular by Kyle MacLachlan and Jürgen Prochnow, the film tells the rise of Paul Atréides, young heir destined to play a major role in the destiny of its people Between political issues, prophecies and battles for control of the precious spice, “Dune” remains one of the most significant adaptations in the history of science fiction in cinema A few days later, on Thursday June 11 at 9 p.m., it’s time for the documentary with “We. l’Orchestre”, directed by Philippe Béziat. This screening offered as part of the “Ciné Docu” event will offer an immersion into the heart of the collective work and passion that drive the musicians of an orchestra. Through these two proposals, the June program highlights the diversity of cinema, capable of transporting spectators to the ends of the universe as well as bringing them into the intimacy of a human and artistic adventure. Between visionary science fiction and musical documentary, Castelmaurou moviegoers will have the opportunity to live two very different but equally captivating cinema experiences.
