In recent days, several anecdotes related to V’s (BTS) military service have circulated a lot online. A content creator, who was reportedly training with him for about a month at the army training center, posted a series of short videos recounting some memories.

He mentioned, for example, an outing to church with V à Noël, or the fact that his behavior in real life corresponded to his public image. These publications quickly attracted the attention of Internet users.

V even commented under some videos saying: “It’s been a long time. Your memory is incredible. HAS” But these contents also provoked criticism, with some Internet users believing that they were mainly used to attract views thanks to the idol’s notoriety.

The creator initially considered stopping publishing these videos. V then responded more lightly: “Why stop? Keep it up, it’s fun. I don’t even remember it. HAS” This message pushed the creator to continue his publications.

Despite this, the controversy continued. Several Internet users pointed out that celebrities also have the right to their private lives, even during their military service. V then took a more cautious tone, explaining that some enjoyed these videos while others were concerned, while saying he would support the creator.

At the same time, an old story concerning RM has resurfaced. He allegedly lent his bank card to soldiers from another unit to buy snacks at the PX. But purchases reportedly exceeded expectations, reaching around 660,000 won (around 450 euros) for more than 100 items, including everyday products like snail cream.

RM then allegedly explained that the amount was so high that it would have caused a problem at the PX cash register, before apologizing after being called to order by his superior. This anecdote caused Internet users to react, between humor and criticism.

  • “He told them to buy snacks, but this was clearly excessive. HAS”
  • “Even if he has money, there must be limits. HAS”
  • “They took advantage of his kindness. HAS”

In the end, these stories around V and RM are divisive. Some see them as amusing memories of military service, while others believe that more care should be taken not to expose the private lives of idols.

Where do you think the limit should be set?
