At the House of Culture of Japan, “Kazuo Kitai, the praise of everyday life”

It was also time to discover the work of Kazuo Kitai. Much less exported than his contemporaries Daido Moriyama, Nobuyoshi Araki or Hiroshi Sugimoto, to name a few, his humanist photography is nevertheless remarkable. In Paris, the Maison de la culture du Japon offers “Kazuo Kitai. The praise of everyday life”, a retrospective of nearly 130 prints displayed in a complete and careful scenography.
