Deva Cassel is carving her own path. The young woman, who is pursuing a career as a model and actress, is preparing to make a comeback in film. She stars in the movie “Le Fantôme de l’Opéra”, directed by Alexandre Castagnetti. For the occasion, she granted an interview to Vanity Fair, where she reflected on her childhood.
Deva Cassel opens up about the education she received
As a child star, Deva Cassel grew up in the spotlight. While her parents, Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci, tried to protect her private life, the little girl always fascinated the public. The elder sister of Léonie shared insights on the education they received. “Very early on, my parents taught us the difference between the artist and the person,” she explained.
Despite her parents’ fame, Deva Cassel was not fully aware of their status. “Certainly, they were famous, but for me, they were just doing a job that allowed us to live well. It was my normality,” she added.
Since her childhood, the young actress has been very close to her mother, Monica Bellucci. Regularly, the latter makes tender confessions about her daughter and the values she has imparted. During her interview, Deva Cassel explained: “She also let me make my own choices to learn from my mistakes.”

In the pages of the Spanish version of Harper’s Bazaar, the top model revealed that she hesitated before embarking on a career in film and modeling. “Now, I do it because I really love it. But I don’t want to follow anyone’s footsteps; I’m trying to pave my own way,” she explained.
