cul-turel – In his book “Paris érotique”, the writer and journalist Marc Lemonier addresses tourists (and Parisians) wishing to discover the capital from a more sensual angle, between culture and eroticism
Paris is the city of love and romance, but not only that. Each of its districts conceals (much) more licentious addresses, many of which are brought together in the work Erotic Paris by Marc Lemonier, to be published on June 4 in La Musardine. There are loveshops, of course, cabarets already well known to tourists, libertine bars and clubs, of course, but also much more original hot spots for eroticism.
And to combine business with pleasure, what could be better than combining culture and eroticism? A quirky, but no less informative, way to discover the smallest secrets of Parisian night (and sometimes day) life. History of prostitution, erotic literature or fiery shows… 20 Minutes has selected five addresses which should leave no one indifferent.
The Boudoir des Muses, Paris 3rd
Go to the center of the capital, at 6 rue de Saintonge, to discover a hotel, formerly a theater, convent and brothel – according to legend at least. Although it seems very common at first glance, this establishment defines itself as “a confidential place that is whispered in the ear and shared in a low voice”. It is possible to book a room there or enjoy a good breakfast, as in any hotel, but the place also offers private access to a spa and its “intimate boudoir”.
