Pentagon hires Capitol rioter to fight terrorism

Controversial appointments continue within the Trump administration. After the choice of the inexperienced but faithful Maga Bill Pulte to head intelligence, the American press is surprised by the recruitment of a Capitol rioter to a sensitive position in the Pentagon.

Elias Irizarry was 19 years old on January 6, 2021 when thousands of Donald Trump supporters invaded the Capitol to contest Joe Biden’s victory against their foe.

The man who was then a student at a military university in South Carolina had gone to Washington that day with two friends and joined the crowd of rioters.
