Created in 1981 by the municipality which wanted to establish a cultural space in the Toulon city centerit offers, throughout the year, a wide variety of cultural and sporting activities to adults et children Toulon and surrounding areas.
Recognized for the quality of its services, Relais Peiresc has been approved by Youth and Popular Education since 1987 and declared of general interest since 2017.

Mariano de Souza, its president, and Virginie Boncourre, its director, comment: “Once the middle school students have left, new students, aged from 6 to over 80, take over… from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Beyond the personal enrichment brought by participation in one or more activities, they take pleasure in a “friendship” spirit. Bonds are forged between teachers and students, and between students. For example, they kept in touch during the Covid crisis ».
Among the wide range of workshops open to all levelswe find the classic music lessons, painting, pottery, yoga, English, Italian…, but also some originals: Chinese watercolor, autobiography writing, naturopathy, Å“nology, public speaking, Corsican, Korean, modern Greek lessons…
The Relais Peiresc is organizing a week of activity open to all from July 6 to 10 Morning. For workshops, preferential rates for students, job seekers, RSA holders, beneficiaries and card holders…
Many conferences are also offered free of charge all year round.
