Activities for reflection and entertainment in Tizi Ouzou

From reflection to entertainment: from June 1 to 4, Tizi Ouzou dedicates four days of activities, workshops and shows to childhood.

Childhood will be in the spotlight in Tizi Ouzou, where the organization is announced, for 4 days (from June 1 to 4), of numerous activities within institutions reporting to the local directorates of culture and arts and youth and sports.

All cultural structures mobilized

A rich program will see the holding of creative and educational workshops with spaces dedicated to drawing, modeling, origami and crafts, as well as shows with performances by clowns, magicians, theater troupes, choirs, songs and stories. In exhibition stands, the associative movement, schools and nurseries will offer fun activities. Despite the heat, outdoor activities, group games and fairs attract families from all over the wilaya.

The Directorate of Culture and the Arts mobilized all the structures under supervision, namely the Maison de la culture Mouloud Mammeri, central place of activities, and its Azzazga annex, the cinema halls of the Cinémathèque and the Djurdjura, the Kateb Yacine regional theater, the Public reading library and twelve other municipal libraries.

The big screen for the little ones

At the Maison de la culture, drawing workshops, general culture and literature quizzes, educational games, dances for children and a musical are planned in the large room. Exhibitions, documentary collections and book signing sales are also on the program.

The places that parents will have to favor will certainly be the Djurdjura and Cinémathèque cinemas, which offer immortal and timeless feature films, among others. Mom, I missed the plane, Alice in Wonderland et Bambiat the end of which the children are invited to debate it. In the twelve municipal libraries, conferences and exhibitions of children’s books with sales are planned.

The Chérif Boussad youth centers in the “La Carrière” district and the CLS in Tizi Ouzou began activities yesterday. Many activities were on the menu, including drawing workshops, animation, a green club, Soroban, theater, cinema and chess games.
