Andrea Cambiaso represents a profile very appreciated by any coach: a player capable of playing on the right as well as on the left, of getting into the middle to organize the game, and of bringing real technical quality. This season, he once again confirmed his offensive potential with 3 goals and 5 decisive assists, while being a central element for Juventus.
However, despite 47 games played and more than 3,600 minutes, his season is considered inconsistent. If he remains an important starter under the orders of Tudor then Luciano Spalletti, his irregular performances and certain defensive shortcomings, notably highlighted during the derby against Torino, have rekindled doubts around his future role.
Spalletti has, however, always emphasized his confidence and appreciation for the player, considered a complete but still imperfect talent. In an ambitious club like Juventus, Cambiaso is not untouchable, and his name is already circulating on the market.
Several clubs are interested in him. Como sees him as an ideal player for Cesc Fà bregas’ system and his need for Italian players for UEFA lists. Inter considers it as an interesting relaunch opportunity, while FC Barcelona has inquired without going any further for the moment.
On the Juventus side, reflections are open. The club is even considering a possible sale to generate funds to reinvest. At the same time, recruitment is already planned on the left side, which could lead to a restructuring of the corridors, especially in the event of the joint departures of Cambiaso and Juan Cabal.
