As part of the theme of the year “B’ArtBen expresses itself”, during the month of July, children attending the town’s leisure center will experience cinema time. The four weeks the space is open will allow them to discover the great classics of the genre. On the program are westerns, silent cinema and Charlie Chaplin, comedy and fantasy.
“Children no longer know the western, indicates Cécile Poncet, director of the center. This will be an opportunity to show them, to talk about the adventures, the heroes. It’s like silent films that they’re not used to watching. They will like comedy as well as fantasy. They know and love certain heroes.”
Young actors and directors in the making
And to perfect their knowledge of cinema, the children will transform into actors and shoot a film with the help of a worker from the Touloubre center who travels for innovative projects.
