Trégor Cinéma was chosen, at the end of 2025, by the Brittany region and the CNC to implement a new system Talents in Court Bretagne.
Detecting talents
“It’s about detecting ambitions and talents in Brittany, rather self-taught, in the short film,”
A call for projects is launched for all those who have a short fiction script, who have already made an amateur film or as part of a school and who are considering professionalization. Three conditions are required: be of age, live in Brittany and be able to shoot your film in Brittany. “You should not censor yourself,” advises Fred Gélard. No training in cinema is required.
Personalized support from four authors
Trégor Cinéma will individually support the four winners for an entire year. They will benefit from two writing residencies at Trébeurden. They will be able to participate in Breton festivals and meet professionals there. At the end of the course, Trégor Cinéma will put the authors in contact with production houses. The support is free.
Selection in June
Ten candidates are already in the running. The selection will be made in June, internally, and the winners will be announced at the beginning of July. Trégor Cinéma will respect gender parity. Talents en Court Bretagne will be renewed for the next two years.
Applications can be submitted until the end of May 2026.
