Model/Actress: Classe mannequin

Can’t get enough of the local punk band and its eternal drum-bass-guitar combo? Take a step aside and switch to rock that looks straight to the future with Model/Actriz! Originally a rock project, the group very early on integrated touches of electro and techno, creating a hybrid object with sometimes Gagaesque accents. Formed in 2016 in Boston, the quartet released Pirouette a year ago, his second studio album. In the purest tradition of noise rock, it offers dark and personal pieces, crossed by queer themes carried by its singer Cole Haden, openly gay.

Cécile Lacharme: We have a bow on the Moon

From the age of six, Cécile Lacharme placed her hands on a cello; the piano will come two years later, but the bow will never leave her. Long sought after to accompany other voices, from Waxx to Hoshi via Coline Rio, the cellist frees herself to defend her own music. Semesters in Singapore, Cambodia and Hong Kong during his studies left traces in his writing, mixing classical influences and contemporary sensibilities. With a 360° sound system and pieces with cinematic colors, the musician transforms each concert into a sensory journey.

Sean Paul : Dancehall by myself

Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, this former water polo swimmer leaves the pools to join the stage. Pillar of dancehall and reggae fusion, Sean Paul makes the planet dance with hits like Temperature; No Lie, Get Busy or even Crazy in Love. With 10 million records sold and 47 billion streams on YouTube, he has a string of feats, from Beyoncé to Sia to Dua Lipa, and enriches an already solid discography. With around twenty international awards, including ten nominations for the Grammy Awards, he remains, at 53, true to himself: iconic glasses and an instantly recognizable flow. A good excuse to bring out Juicy Couture, low-rise jeans, bandanas, backwards caps and maximize jewelry.

Fragile : Delicate and delicate

In 2021, during confinement, a few Angevin musicians – from local groups (LANE, Wild Fox, Dogs For Friends or Scuffles) chose to start from scratch. Fragile was born, a name where mental vulnerability becomes raw material, out of step with the explosive energy of their sound. After a first EP, …About Going Home released in June 2023, and around fifty dates across France and Europe, their concert at the Levitation festival in May 2024 opens the doors to a wider audience. Their musical identity is confirmed in April 2025 with the release of their first album Big Big Smilemixing punk rock and emo sensibility inherited from the 90s-2000s, all carried by rhythms and atmospheric layers borrowed from shoegaze and new wave.

Paranormal Show: Polter gesture

A life without the supernatural is like wine without grapes: it lacks body and flavor! It is for this reason, perhaps, that this second edition of the festival will make you want to quench your thirst for the strange and unexplained, through shows and conferences around mentalism, hypnosis, NDEs (near death experiences), ufology, shamanism, ghost hunters and divinatory arts. Little new thing: a museum of the strange with its cabinet of curiosities (150 unusual pieces presented!), which will allow you, among other pranks, to shake the hand – with three fingers – of this good old R1947: a specimen of Roswell!

Blood Command au Fury Dance #3 : Sang contrefaçon

For its third edition, Fury Dance is banking on an effective line-up: the Canadian Cancer Bats, a sure bet of hardcore, Grove Street in a crossover register, Defiance, a historic American hardcore group, and Knives, a British group between post-hardcore and noise. A consistent tray, without frills. Blood Command then arrives like an evening that gets out of hand. Formed in Bergen in 2008, the combo sends out a mutant hardcore, between banging riffs and pop choruses that become encrusted. Flashy look, attitude, infectious energy led by singer Nikki Brumen: it’s difficult not to indulge in this kind of fantasy. After five albums, Ghostclocks à World Dominationtheir latest EP Wet Death pushes this improbable mixture further, very fun, but sometimes too busy and clumsy. Regardless, Blood Command clearly prefers excess to control.

Robinson Crusoé : The island of temptation

Rarely performed since its creation in 1867, Robinson Crusoé by Jacques Offenbach returns to the stage in a production by Laurent Pelly. The director offers a daring adaptation where the colonial exoticism inherited from the 19th century is the subject of a critical and contemporary rereading. Robinson no longer appears as a shipwrecked man from a paradise island, but as a failure from a world dominated by capitalism, where cannibals wear suits, ties and dark glasses. Humor rubs shoulders with drama, fantasy is tinged with melancholy, while a love story takes place at the heart of the action, far from Daniel Defoe’s original novel. Savagery changes sides.

King Kong Girl: Trash Gorilla

If female groups emerged at the same time as punk itself, it is clear that, 50 years later, the scene and its audience remain governed by men. It is in a knee-jerk reaction to this cult of “the good old days” that King Kong Meuf emerged, carrying a resolutely dirty and feminist punk. With primitive guitar riffs, screamed vocals or spoken word, explicit titles (see the EP TOO LATE KoNNARD and the very recent LP FUCK GOODNESS / THE WORLD IS MINE), shows sprinkled with fake blood and punctuated by flaming drumsticks, King Kong Meuf guarantees: riot grrrl will never sleep!

DeuxMains Festival: The right price

For its new edition, the DeuxMains Festival, supported by Les Ecossolies, brings together resource centers and artisans from Loire-Atlantique over no less than 4,000 m² dedicated to reuse. Furniture, clothes, books, vinyls, plants, decorative objects… there will be something for all tastes. New for this edition: solidarity fashion has its own space, crowned by the Solidarity & Crazy Auctions and the Fashion in Resistance parade of the Les Simones association. Beyond the market, introductory workshops on screen printing, upcycling, sewing, zero waste and bicycle repair… everyone leaves with ideas for consuming differently. On the music side, Le Solar Créative invites Hugo Selva and Berty Blade for two DJ sets in addition to a brass band and a choir. All for a concrete assessment: almost three tonnes of objects saved from the dumpster over the course of a weekend.
