This Friday, May 22, 2026, the Bisik was installed at the Théâtre Les Bambous to host the presentation of a musical project with Tifrid Maloya and the students of the François Frçois Frédéric Sisahaye school in Mare à Martin, in Hauts de Salazie. A project included in the Fabriques à Musique system, which allows schools to collaborate with a professional artist to create an original musical work, from writing to composition while promoting the Reunion cultural scene, supported by Bisik, whose press release we publish below (Photo Le Bisik)

The restitution of the work of our young talents carried out after several workshops led by Tifrid within the school, took place in professional conditions, on a real stage, under the spotlights and in front of an enthusiastic and caring audience, thanks to our friends from the Théâtre Les Bambous who welcomed us to make this incredible concert happen.

Mare à Martin is a pearl of the mountains, famous for its pond and you will have understood it: its martins. The 47 students of the small establishment – all classes combined, it is a school with multi-level classes – participated in this project aimed at creating an original show alongside an inspired and passionate artist. Experience a strong and professional moment in a real performance hall, discover artistic creation in style and promote our cultural heritage.

Naturally, Bisik proposed this project to Tifrid Maloya, a committed Benedictine artist, who immediately accepted and proudly carried out this adventure for several weeks, with several days of workshops in the heart of the mountain. Sometimes musicians, dancers or singers, the children, as the expression goes, “jumped into the pond”.Â

“My Bann’ i enlarged and I have an amazing talan here…†says Ti Frid, still very touched by this adventure. The artist is surrounded by his musicians and 47 singers and dancers! An incredible moment for covers of Maloya standards but also of titles by the visibly moved artist…

A strong shared moment where Bisik is proud to still be at the heart of artistic and cultural education projects!

We warmly thank the children, the artists involved: Tifrid, Lorik, Luc, Léon and Bertrand. Thanks to Laure Saget-Cabre, Director of the François Frédéric Sisahaye de Mare à Martin School, also to the teachers, Giovanni Vallant Donato and Ketty Servigne, to the parents, supervisors and staff, Ericka Asiscanon, Matthieu Sisahaye, Mickaela Maillot, Melinda Maillot, Rose May Maillot, to the public curious, to Bertrand Robert, project leader teacher at the André Hoareau School in Saint-Benoît and to the students from his CM1 class who had traveled to appreciate the show. Sacem which offered to carry out this wonderful project supported by the DAAC and all our partners without whom nothing would be possible.

Thank you to Théâtre Les Bambous who supports us during our work times.
