Engage and win in an air-land coalition

With for theme “Engage and win in an air-land coalition”the Army will present to the salon Eurosatory 2026 its equipment, its experiments and its vision of the air-land combat of tomorrowwith the ambition of preparing the capabilities that will allow France to maintain its freedom of appreciation, its capacity for action and its interoperability with its allies.

Ongoing conflicts demonstrate the need to accelerate cycles of innovation, adaptation and countermeasures. Drones, robotization, electronic warfare, artificial intelligence, collaborative combat and system connectivity are already modifying the conditions of air-land engagement.

In this demanding environment, the army constitutes a central instrument of France’s strategic credibility. Strength of decision and contact, she is engaged daily in several missions : protection of the national territory, projection of power, action of conventional forces in support of nuclear deterrence and major coalition engagement.

Following the course set by the future strategic vision (Future Aeroterrestrial Action), its capacity development responds to a clear ambition: to have a complete, coherent army model, capable of conducting high-intensity combat over time up to the level of the army corps, in coalition.

To stay one step ahead in a contested environment, the Army is constantly adapting its operational capabilities.The modernization undertaken with the programme Scorpion strengthens the integration of systems, informational and decision-making superiority, as well as the coordination of effects.

Dynamic demonstrations at Eurosatory 2026

Conferences and dynamic demonstrations on the program

More than 100 conferences bringing together nearly 300 speakers are scheduled throughout the show.

As for dynamic demonstrations, 80 French and Belgian soldiers will operate, under the eyes of the public, around twenty vehicles as well as a ten drones and robots currently in service. These presentations will be followed by discussions with visitors.

THE dynamic presentations of the Army illustrate a major, high-intensity operational commitment. They reflect the ambition to have an interoperable, digitized, trained force, capable of acting and winning in coalition in a contested environment. The scenario presented will retrace an air-land operation conducted under multinational command, structured around several sequences:

  • Force projection and entry first;
  • High intensity defense;
  • Offensive en haute intensité.

The Army will also participate in industrial demonstrations, offering an immersion as close as possible to the operational capabilities of cutting-edge equipment and systems. The Army’s robotic exploratory section, an infantry group and drone operators will present different equipment in service or being evaluated as part of a tactical scenario for evacuating wounded people under enemy fire.

À travers sa participation à Eurosatory 2026the Army reaffirms its desire to prepare tomorrow’s operational capabilities today. Eurosatory 2026 illustrates the solidity of the link between the armies, the DGA, industrialists and research stakeholders, in the service of operational superiority and national sovereignty.
