Since Friday, May 22, the Pays du Roi Morvan Music School has been presenting the photo exhibition “Faces in Music.” This exhibition highlights the faces, the journeys and the links that are built around musical practice within the school and more widely in the region. Through a series of photographic portraits, she highlights the diversity of people who bring music to life on a daily basis: students, teachers, members and local actors.
Each portrait is accompanied by a QR code allowing access to a sound capsule: testimony, journey story or musical extract. The inhabitants, students, musicians and cultural actors of the region talk about their relationship with music, their journey or their pleasure of playing.
Opening with music Tuesday May 26
This moment will mark the launch of the exhibition of photos by Meffe Wacrenier and drawings by Rosy Turland, the first part of the more global project which also includes audio and video dimensions developed in parallel.
The opening will take place this Tuesday, May 26, at 6:30 p.m., at the music school. The evening will continue with music: the Jazz Big Band will be in rehearsal from 7 p.m., with doors open and free listening for all those who wish to extend the moment.
