Drôme. Pétanque, badminton, billiards: there will be sports in Valence in 2026

The spring will be sporty. This is evidenced by the event conventions that were approved on Saturday, March 21st. Among the dates to remember are: the departmental handisport committee is organizing the 27th national games of the Future handisport from May 13th to 16th.

Almost at the same time, from May 15th to 17th, the Valence Billard club will organize its three-cushion billiards Open.

In June, Valence badminton is organizing a national tournament from June 6th to 7th. Also in badminton, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes League will organize the Valence Alpes international badminton from June 11th to 14th. Roller S is planning the Drôme Roll’heures on June 7th.

On June 20th and 21st, the International Youth Pétanque Competition is announced with Valensolles Pétanque in action. Each time, the City supports these events by providing sites and logistical support.

The summer will then start with the Valentinoise pétanque from June 26th to 28th. Three days of competition, five triplet competitions, and over 1,500 players expected. The corporate challenge will be on June 26th with 64 teams (192 players). The main challenge will take place on June 27th and 28th with 256 teams (768 players). The friendship challenge on these two days. The family challenge is scheduled for the 28th, as well as the doubles challenge.
