This program opens the doors of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to high-level professionals from the private and public sectors for a one-year dive into French and European diplomacy alongside those who make it. It will take place from January to December 2027.
Created in 2019, CHEAD represents a unique opportunity for decision-makers from all backgrounds to discover the professions of the ministry and participate in the influence of France’s external action by discovering from the inside the workings of French diplomacy.
Like every year, the 2027 edition will take place over a year, from January to December. This cycle of studies offers the keys to understanding French diplomacy through access to the ministry’s strategic analyzes and exchanges with diplomats and foreign policy experts.
It is organized around 4 dimensions:
- Seminars on the various ministry sites, in Paris and in the region;
- Institutional visits (Senate, Elysée, Economic, Environmental and Social Council);
- Promotional trips to discover European institutions (such as France’s representations to the European Union and NATO);
- A study trip to a French Embassy.
The listeners also integrate a prestigious network, led by the Association of Former CHEAD Auditors (ACHEAD), and made up of nearly 250 former and current auditors.
