Protect artistic creation
While the world of cinema is currently gathered in the south of France for the Cannes Film Festival, the Minister of Culture stressed the importance of supporting artistic creation. “Creation is not reuse, it is an act of innovation, which by definition is often nourished by confrontation, by breaking with old forms”
she declared during a meeting with players in the field.
She also recalled that “Artificial intelligence is a tool. It can accelerate, facilitate, enrich the making of films. But a work is a look, it’s an intention, it’s feelings.”
