As part of its strategic axis around the question of Artistic and Cultural Education and training through the practice of the project in cultural action, the INSPÉ de Lorraine has participated since 2016 in the National Arts & Culture Days in Higher Education (convention “University, place of culture” signed in Avignon on July 12, 2013). A new and original program of varied cultural actions is thus designed, with the financial support of the Arts & Culture mission of the INSPÉ de Lorraine, the Contribution de Vie Etudiante et de Campus of the University of Lorraine and the DRAC Grand Est.
It is an ordinary day without classes (like the “INSPɔ meetings) on all of the INSPÉ training campuses in Lorraine and open to the entire community. Strong point: students, staff and teachers come together in the workshops, outside the usual framework of courses, meetings or evaluations, and imagine what they can then transpose into their classes or simply meet artists to discuss with them.
The programming for this 10th edition was particularly varied: screenings-debates, practical workshops (photography, screen printing, stop motion, sketches, calligraphy, monotype, lacto engraving, video, escape game, music, brain ball, vocals, speaking and improv, quizzes, traditional dances), visits and “Zinzin ballad” (archaeological site, industrial site, city, nature, architecture), concerts and shows (brass band of students from the University of Lorraine, folk, theater) and of course, visit to the exhibitions of our artist hosted in residence this year: Marie Mirgaine (Galerie Le Préau, BU and Fabulathèque).
A big thank you to the colleagues (INSPÉ, BU and IREM) and to the student associations who proposed and led the workshops, to all the INSPÉ colleagues (and partners) for their support, to the cultural structures, and of course to the artists – more than 600 of you participated for this 2026 edition of JACES!
Please note in your diaries: the next edition is scheduled for Wednesday April 14, 2027! The call for projects will be launched next fall. HAS”
