Sonia Vacheret disappeared on the weekend of May 9, in Montferrand-le-Château near Besançon. The army has been mobilized and around thirty soldiers are crisscrossing the area, accompanied by just as many gendarmes. They were joined this Thursday, May 14, by a citizen hunt. Their efforts were concentrated in the steep sector of the castle ruins where the 54-year-old woman regularly came to run.
No tracks left out
The police are studying all the hypotheses, including a voluntary departure of this woman or the possibility of an accident.
