The aircraft will hoist a crane to the top of the Opus tower to enable the renovation of the building.
A construction site that promises to be as impressive as it is noisy. A Super Puma (H215) will disrupt the tranquility of the La Défense business district this Saturday morning. The specialist SAF Héicoptères will carry out a heliport to the top of the Opus tower, which has just begun a major modernization led by the Legendre group.
The aircraft registered F-HRTS will arrive in the skies of La Défense around 9 a.m. this Saturday, May 16. His mission will be to hoist the elements of a Liebherr Derrick crane as well as a mini spider crane to the top of the building, using an eighty-meter sling. Six rotations are planned for around thirty minutes.

The aircraft from the aircraft manufacturer Airbus will arrive the day before from Albertville, in Savoie, to land at the Issy-les-Moulineaux heliport. If the Super Puma will not land at the foot of the La Défense towers during its mission, a vast security perimeter will be set up and ensured by AIDF. Concretely, access to the square located in front of the Agam Fountain will be prohibited to the public. However, a pedestrian crossing will be maintained along the Cœur Défense complex. The various loads will be positioned on the square before being airlifted to the top of the tower.
Leader in aerial works, SAF Hélicoptères is not its first attempt. The French company has already carried out numerous helicopter flights in the business district, whether with a Super Puma or an Ecureuil, a smaller device. Last October, an Écureuil AS350 B3 hoisted several CTA modules onto the terrace of the Acacia building. The last appearance of the Super Puma dates back to December 2024. The machine then transported heat pumps to the top of the Hyfive tower.
