Purple Campus Cahors brought together sports and leisure stakeholders from the region on May 5, 2026 for an Afterwork dedicated to the presentation of their new training program: a BPJEPS MAPST (Multi-Sport Physical Activities for All). An evening of exchanges and meetings focused on collaboration, apprenticeship, and the future of sports coaching professions.
As part of the evolution of the BPJEPS in Physical Activities for All, now renamed BPJEPS MAPST (Multi-Sport Physical Activities for All), Purple Campus Cahors gathered sports and leisure structures from the region to present the challenges and opportunities of this new training program. Nearly thirty participants, representing about fifteen structures, attended this professional event organized as a friendly and collaborative Afterwork.
This meeting allowed participants to discover in detail the content of the BPJEPS MAPST, its alternating training system, and the skills developed by future apprentices.
Discussions also covered: the possibilities of hosting apprentices in sports and leisure structures; the territory’s needs for supervision and activity development; and the potential for collaboration between professionals and training organizations.
The pedagogical and commercial teams at Purple Campus Cahors were able to support the present structures in reflecting on future joint projects.
Through this event, Purple Campus Cahors reaffirms its commitment to professional training, closely linked with field stakeholders. This highlight illustrates the importance of partnership between training organizations and professional structures to nurture future talents and meet the evolving needs of the sports and leisure sector.
