“Unique entertainment venue in the region”, a cabaret and café-theatre opens at the start of the school year near Alençon

The cultural offering will soon be enriched Alençon : at the start of the school year, a place of entertainment unique at the regional level will open its doors in Arçonnay, in the Le Chêne business zone, near the Lidl supermarket. Baptized on « Strass Palace »this new performance hall will combine café-théâtre et cabaret. “It’s quite rare to combine the two,” points out the illusionist Léo Brièreco-leader of the project.

« Programmation three diversifiée »

The local child, who imagined this place, is accompanied in this adventure by his mother Isabelle et Tiago Eusebioa recognized name in the world of live entertainment. This trio wants to make it an essential site for “weekend outings” through a “very diversified program”.

Indeed, the public will be able to enjoy a show every Friday evening…: humor, magic, imitation, theater… Several names are already planned such as Alex Vizorek (September 25), Roman Doduik (October 16) or even Erick Baert (November 27). The ticket office is open.

180 places

The room will have a part cabaret with a show lasting more than two hours by several artists. Circus, cancan, song with feathers, rhinestones and sequins. The show, preceded by a meal, will be performed around thirty times over the season, until June 2027.

The cabaret is set up in a 350 m² building, formerly occupied by the Atelier du Tissu, which will be able to accommodate up to 180 spectators. Work began in April. The opening is planned, to date, for the September 12.
