The seminar, under the theme “Vietnam’s foreign policy and culture: from regional integration to the construction of its global role in the 21st century”, attracted a large number of scientists, experts and national and international speakers.
This year, conference organizers received 115 papers from more than 20 universities, research institutes and national and international organizations. The topics covered were varied and current, including foreign policy, cultural diplomacy, international communication, language training in the digital age and the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
During the plenary session, many international speakers presented in-depth presentations on Vietnam-Russia cooperation in the new context, including: Russia-Vietnam relations in the new era (Ms. Maria Georgievna Mizonova, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang)Â ; Vietnam-Russia relations in the era of development: the key role of cultural diplomacy and scientific and technological cooperation (Mr. Le Bo Linh, associate professor and director of the Strategic Economic Research Institute); the strategic sustainability of Russia-Vietnam educational cooperation (Mr. Shevchenko Yaroslav, Director of the Department of Development of International Cooperation at the Far Eastern Federal University); and the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation: Achievements and Prospects (Mr. Nguyen Vo Huyen Dung, Head of Department at the Faculty of International Studies of the University of Foreign Languages).
Meanwhile, during the discussions, delegates focused on seven thematic areas related to culture and education; international relations, security and public policies; to education and diplomacy; to the sustainability of educational cooperation, cultural exchanges and language teaching in the new context.
