From May 20 to June 5, 2026, the Roissy Pays de France conurbation is offering the third edition of its free festival of shows for toddlers.

Access to culture from an early age asserts itself as a priority for the Roissy Pays de France conurbation community. From May 20 to June 5, 2026, it is organizing the third edition of its “Petits tout petits” festival, an event entirely dedicated to young and very young audiences. Carried out in partnership with the Théâtre de la Vallée, this cultural event aims to offer moments of wonder, laughter and discovery to children and their families throughout the intercommunal territory.

A rich and itinerant cultural offering

The festival will deploy a program of eleven shows in thirteen municipalities in the conurbation, spread between the departments of Val-d’Oise and Seine-et-Marne. To reach as wide an audience as possible, the performances will be held in a variety of locations: early childhood structures, multipurpose rooms and theaters. Several renowned artistic companies will participate in this edition, including ACTA, coMCa, Théâtre de la vallée, Loup Ange, Le Porte Voix, Melampo and Soleil Sous la Pluie. Beyond stage performances, the festival emphasizes interaction. Workshops and meeting times will be organized to allow the public to interact directly with the artists, thus enriching the cultural experience.

Two highlights not to be missed

The 2026 edition will be punctuated by two flagship events. The official opening will take place on Tuesday May 20, 2026 at 10 a.m. in Écouen, with the presentation of the show “Petit-Bleu et Petit-Jaune” by the Théâtre de la vallée. This piece, accessible from the age of two, promises a poetic and visual journey for the youngest spectators.

The closing will be held on Thursday June 5, 2026 at 10:30 a.m., in the village hall and the intercommunal media library of Juilly. This final event will be the occasion for the presentation of the “Roissy Pays de France 2026 Early Childhood Reading Prize”. Ella Charbon, winner of the 2025 edition, will be present to pass the baton and celebrate children’s literature.

A commitment to culture accessible to all

One of the fundamental characteristics of the “Petits tout petits” festival is that it is completely free. This proactive initiative aims to remove financial barriers and guarantee equitable access to quality artistic offerings for all families in the region. The complete program as well as all the practical information are available on the agglomeration community website.

Roissy Pays de France, a driving territory

This festival is part of the ambitious cultural policy of the Roissy Pays de France agglomeration community. Created in 2016, this intercommunality brings together 42 municipalities and nearly 363,000 inhabitants. Chaired by Pascal DOLL, it manages a contrasting territory, combining strong urbanization around airport platforms and vast agricultural areas. Cultural and sporting development is among its priority skills, as evidenced by the renewed success of this event dedicated to the artistic awakening of young people.
