Thibault Morlain

Journalist

After trying out different sports, Thibault turned to a career as an amateur footballer. When faced with the decision to become a professional footballer or a journalist, his skills tipped the scale towards journalism. He is now part of the 10 Sport editorial team after earning a degree from the International Institute of Communication in Paris.

Today considered one of the best football clubs in the world, PSG can rely on famous supporters. Some personalities would not hesitate to work for the Parisian club. While wearing the PSG jersey and playing alongside the Parisian stars is tempting, some would prefer other roles.

During every PSG match, the stands of Parc des Princes are filled with notable names. The capital club attracts celebrities who are true fans for many years. This includes France’s most famous doctor, Michel Cymes. “When was my first match at Parc des Princes? On June 4, 1974, I was 17 years old. It was the promotion match to the first division after a victory against Valenciennes. Unforgettable,” he explained to Le Parisien in 2025.

“I Dreamed of Being PSG’s Doctor”

Although known as a doctor, Michel Cymes is a big fan of PSG. He admitted he would not say no to working for the capital club. In the same interview, he shared about this “fantasy“: “I would have liked to be PSG’s doctor? Oh yes, I dreamed of being PSG’s doctor. But it’s a fantasy because to be a football team doctor, you need skills that I don’t have. You need to be a rheumatologist or an orthopedist. I’m an ENT, so unless the guy bleeds from the nose, I wouldn’t be very useful. Despite that, I had some great experiences. When I worked for Télématin, I suggested following a match from the edge of the pitch with the paramedics. And that match was PSG-Real with the famous Kombouaré header in 1993!”

PSG has Touched Michel Cymes

If not as PSG’s doctor, Michel Cymes is a staunch supporter of the capital club. Last season, he was thrilled by the performances of Luis Enrique‘s players: “There have been seasons with incredible matches. But the most beautiful season for a supporter is when their team plays well and gets results. We’ve had seasons where we made it to the quarterfinals of the Champions League and I was bored in every match. Today, we have a very enjoyable game, with possession, incredible speed, and, in the end, the Champions League final. It’s a combination of things that make this season so special.”
