An essential figure in composition for the big and small screen, Éric Neveux returns to the forefront with the single “Le répondeur”, available since April 17, 2026 under the Tuba label.
Eric Neveux is not a newcomer to the French musical landscape. Appearing at the end of the 90s under the pseudonym MrNeveux during the electro wave, he also co-founded the Microbe label, which accompanied artists such as Barbara Carlotti or This Is The Kit. Since then, he has established himself as one of the most sought-after composers in the world. cinema françaisnotably signing the music of Those who love me will take the train or series noted as Sentinels. It was for the eponymous feature film by Fabienne Godet, starring Denis Podalydès and Souleymane Cissé, that he imagined the theme of “Answering machine“.
The esteemed success of this mélodie pushed the composer to explore new horizons. Rather than stopping at the original version, Éric Neveux had the audacious idea of entrusting ce thème à 25 artistes différents. This collaboration will give rise to as many reinterpretations, navigating between instrumental pieces and songs. While waiting to discover the entirety of these creations, the public can now immerse themselves in the original version of the piece, a delicate piece where the piano alerte by Macha Gharibian brings a particular light to the initial theme.
