“Things sometimes happen without us wanting themâ€
It’s been 8 years since Virginie Efira shared the life of Niels Schneider whom she met on the set of the film An impossible love by Catherine Corsini. In August 2023, the couple welcomed their first son, Hiro. Things sometimes happen without us wanting them, even in quite unprecedented ways.“, the actress then confided in front of the TF1 cameras about the arrival of Hiro in her life, while adding that she experienced this second pregnancy more serenely. HAS”I still think that the first step, the one which is the entry into maternity or fatherhood, the one which is still another relationship with the world, which changes the situation, is still full of wonderful things“, she said. HAS”It’s discovering unconditional love, but, sorry guys, it’s also discovering the loss of carefreeness completely. This is made for me, I already know it.»
And it is also a confidence that she had already made to Madame Figaro in December 2024. «Today, with Hiro, I am more serene… I think that the way we look at motherhood has changed. Alternative testimonies were heard on TV sets and elsewhere. We know that women can also feel bad at the birth of a child, feel overwhelmed – even if we agree that it remains the happiest day of their life», at-elle déclaré. TO”Being able to talk about it makes you feel much better. When Hiro was born, I was aware of all this and, as a result, I was fine. I also have to say that the father of my child is very cool.» With these words, she further breaks the taboo around late motherhood among women.
