He is a musician forged very early by the collective. Loÿs Brossy grew up in an environment where music occupies a central place. Trained at the Conservatory and the University of Musicology of Saint-Étienne, he quickly developed a complete approach to music. Singing, playing, composing: for him, everything is linked to emotion and exchange.

The local public discovered him in particular within the group Let’s Goldman, a tribute to the world of Jean-Jacques Goldman. A decisive experience which led him to become more open to French song and writing in French. “I began to be touched by the lyrics as much as by the music,” he explains. An artistic evolution which will profoundly mark his solo project.

A first EP like a liberation

With Good NewsLoÿs Brossy takes an important step forward. This short format of five tracks and an interlude acts as a musical calling card, a concentrate of his pop rock universe with assumed Anglo-Saxon influences. “I needed this to come out. Music is made to be shared.”

Entirely self-produced, the EP highlights an artisanal and authentic approach. Piano recorded at home, real instruments, worked vocal harmonies: Loÿs Brossy favors the warmth of the sound and the sincerity of the arrangements.

A joyful and organic aesthetic

Musically, Good News is part of an energetic French pop rock vein, carried by catchy melodies. But behind its optimistic title, the EP also explores deeper emotions.

His influences range from English rock of the 70s to French song, with particular attention paid to the lyrics. His ambition is clear: to bring joy back to French-speaking music.

The stage as a playground

For Loÿs Brossy, music only takes on its full meaning on stage. Surrounded by his musicians, the Manitous, he already defends his titles in concert. The release party organized in April marked a highlight of this launch. “When someone tells you that a song touched them or changed them, it’s incredible.”

Today, Good News is available on all streaming platforms. But for Loÿs, it’s just the beginning.

Between independence, artistic demands and the desire to unite, the artist traces his path with a simple conviction: music is above all a story of connection.

And if this Good News Was it exactly the one we were waiting for?
