The Russian army has been activated across the entire front and is regrouping, according to the head of the Armed Forces

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky wrote this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“The situation on the front line remains complicated. The enemy has intensified its offensive operations on practically the entire front and is regrouping its troops. The situation is currently most tense in the direction of Pokrovsk, where the Russian aggressor has concentrated around 106,000 men. Enemy activity also remains high in the Ocheretyn, Oleksandrivka, Kupiansk and Kostiantynivka directions, as well as in areas along the border with the Russian Federation.a écrit M. Syrsky.

He emphasizes that the defense forces carry out active operations when conditions are favorable and, despite constant pressure from the enemy, continue to accomplish their missions, including on Russian territory.

“Our presence in the Kursk region is maintained. The key to success lies precisely in active defense and initiative on the battlefield. This allows us to exhaust the adversary, re-establish our positions and inflict maximum losses on the enemy,” declared the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to him, the Russian army loses at least a thousand soldiers every day, killed or wounded.

During the month, fire support forces carried out more than 64,900 missions. In April, Ukrainian gunners hit 8,500 enemy targets, while missile units carried out 74 strikes against the enemy. Priority targets remain facilities for refining and transportation of fuels, production of special chemicals, gunpowder and other enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.

“In April alone, 84 targets were hit deep in enemy territory using Deep Strike assets. This is the result of quality coordination and interaction between all components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine,” Syrsky emphasized.
