Filaj Benlahoucine’s Media365 report on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 11:12 p.m.

During the players of OM’s training camp last night, disturbances are said to have occurred at La Commanderie during an impromptu party.

OM’s current rough patch led to Habib Beye and his staff making a radical decision: to implement a several-day training camp. Since Monday, the players have been staying at La Commanderie where they have been secluded until Friday, the date of their last training session before returning home. As the crisis deepens both on the field and behind the scenes, disturbances were reported to have occurred last night at the training center.

A “summer camp” atmosphere at La Commanderie

The players organized a private party to celebrate the end of the training camp, but it got out of hand. “Beds moved, rooms turned upside down, and a fire extinguisher completely emptied in a manager’s room,” as reported by Foot Mercato. The same source mentioned that several staff members did not appreciate this behavior resembling a “summer camp” according to a witness.

Currently in 7th place in the standings, OM no longer controls their fate for qualifying for European competition next season with only two matches left in the current season. Facing Le Havre on Sunday night (kick-off at 9 p.m.), the Phocéens urgently need points before hosting Rennes on the final matchday on May 17th. Habib Beye and his team are on a streak of three winless matches in Ligue 1.
