They have made their place in the world of music. From now on, Bigflo and Oli are conquering another environment. The two brothers thus embarked on a new entrepreneurial adventure. Here are all the details of this project unrelated to their career.

Carried by titles like Damage, On the moon or even Papa, Bigflo and Oli have established themselves as one of the most popular duos on the French music scene. At 32 and 29 years old respectively, the two brothers from Toulouse have built a solid career in rap, between successful albums, tours and even a coaching role in The Voice. In parallel with music and art – Oli initiated a project in the field alone, without his brother – they also developed another entrepreneurial project together, far from the studios: a drink at Maté baptismal font.

Matécito, what is it? It is a sparkling drink made from mate, a plant widely consumed in Argentina, their father’s country of origin. The product is manufactured and assembled in France, near Toulouse, in the South-West. On its official website, the brand presents a recipe composed of “five simple and natural ingredientsnamely a sparkling, delicately tangy mate, which combines the subtle bitterness of mate with the light, fruity sweetness of pomegranate. The drink also contains “half the sugar of a classic soda. Sold in particular in pack of 12 33cl cans at 29.90 eurosMatécito was first distributed on a small scale in Occitanie, in CHR establishments, at the Rose Festival and in several points of sale in Toulouse.

In July 2025, the Casino group formalized the arrival of the product in the Monoprix, Franprix, Casino, Spar and Vival brands. In its press release, the distributor explained that “more than 400 stores will offer the product in limited quantities from August“. Furthermore, the group also specified that Matécito “embodies a desire for cultural sharing: that of mate, an emblem of conviviality in Argentina and a nod to the family origins of the artists. A few weeks later, in August 2025, Bigflo and Oli themselves spoke about this new stage on Instagram. “Created 3 years ago without help from a large group of 4 in our Toulouse offices! Thank you to the Casino group for believing in us and following us in this adventure“, we could read. Still on the image-sharing social network, the duo who experienced a childhood unlike any other were delighted with this new string to their bow: “Another project where we learn and have fun. We’re glad you can taste it more easily now.“With Matécito, Bigflo and Oli are thus pursuing a discreet but structured diversification, relying on their family ties and their roots in Toulouse.
