Omaha, Neb. – Boys Town hosted its annual event on Thursday night to recognize student athletes and raise funds for their athletic programs. The event took place at A View West Shores in Waterloo and included a VIP private reception, silent auction, dinner, and a moderated conversation with three-time MLB All-Star and World Series champion, Anthony Rizzo. Boys Town emphasizes that the support athletics receive from this event ensures that students have a fun outlet where they can learn valuable life lessons. The event was emceed by KETV Newswatch 7’s Sports Director, Andy Kendeigh. This year marks the 59th year that Boys Town has hosted this banquet.
