The Slaughterhouses

From May 7 to June 25, the Bourgoin-Jallieu Abattoirs reopen their Guinguette for the sixth consecutive year. Free and open to all, the formula is immutable: DJ atmosphere from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., then concert with established artists. A world panorama that makes you dance – Burkinabé, Brazilian, Colombian accents – carried by Simon Eichenberger, Kaynixe, Mademoiselle Charby and Harry Cover on the decks from the opening.

Free entry, open bar, organized carpooling: the Abattoirs really think of everything. A generosity which, for six years, has made the Guinguette much more than a concert – a real neighborhood meeting – and even a local meeting, gently placed on the banks of the Bourbre.

Two in-house creations not to be missed: Zerzura, a striking encounter between Mazalda locals and Egyptian singer Hend Elrawi, and Aïtawa and her hair-raising South American trance. As for new products, Ismahan and his Bis’Truck will offer traveling cuisine to echo the evening’s artists – mafé, rougail, empanadas. Les Abattoirs are also testing collective carpooling to reach the site: a great idea to meet before the music even starts.
