After trying different sports, Thibault turned to a career as an amateur footballer. When faced with a choice between becoming a professional footballer and a journalist, his qualities tipped the scales towards the latter. He is now part of the editorial team at 10 Sport, after obtaining a degree from the International Institute of Communication in Paris.

Former player for PSG and the French national team, Laure Boulleau later transitioned to the media. She is now on Canal+ where she can be seen contributing to the Canal Football Club. A female presence that she believes is still lacking. This led Laure Boulleau to call for another woman to join her.

While Laure Boulleau was once seen on the football fields with PSG and the French national team, she is now on television screens. The former left-back has become a consultant for Canal+, appearing on the Canal Football Club and during Champions League nights on the encrypted channel. Laure Boulleau feels somewhat isolated as a woman and is open to another female presence.

“Obviously, I advocate for the arrival of another woman at the Canal Football Club”

When interviewed by Télé Star, Laure Boulleau advocated for another woman to join the Canal Football Club. The Canal+ consultant expressed, “Obviously, I advocate for the arrival of another woman at the Canal Football Club. When I started in this position, I wanted to set an example. I felt a great responsibility. It was new for a woman to talk about the guys. If I had been bad, it would have reflected on all of us! That being said, as the only woman, I was very well taken care of.”

“I knew I had potential for television”

After her professional playing career, Laure Boulleau chose Canal+ for her transition into the media world. Regarding this second career, she explained, “I knew I had potential for television, they (the channels) were interested because I had already done shows during my career and it didn’t go wrong when I started announcing that I was going to stop. Quietly, I had many channels approach me to meet, to offer me things, and it was leaning towards Canal as well. So it’s great.”
