In the temple of sounds usually resonating with engines and the smell of rubber, the technopole of the Val de Vienne circuit in Le Vigeant is also active behind the scenes. Two new brand-new buildings of 1,000m² each have recently been built on the initiative of SCI Sport concept, led by David Melili and Xavier Begnatborde.
Passionate about motor sports, especially motorcycles, the two men have just crossed the finish line with the realization of a long-term project at the beginning of April 2026.
A cell to host receptions during events on the circuit
“The idea was born from a meeting between two passionate friends one evening in a garage. My husband and I have a masonry business based in Fleuré, and David Melili has a mechanical business in Lussac-les-Châteaux. In 2023, they imagined this project: to offer a dedicated space to motor sports enthusiasts. The outcome was difficult. It took three years to realize this dream, with setbacks related mainly to the purchase of land from the Department and obtaining building permits,” explains Stéphanie Begnatborde, a motorcycle enthusiast and head of the SCI Sport concept startup.
Today, the company offers two new buildings composed of closed cells for industrial or commercial use, within a secure site. “The first 1,000 m² building houses six cells. Five are already occupied by major players in the circuit, such as the associations ASA, VVM, and the company Loisirs mecanik,” says the director.
The site also hosts, under the Sport concept brand, an event cell reserved for professionals or activities taking place on the circuit. It can be rented for receptions, cocktails, parties, or events for car or motorcycle enthusiasts.
Storage spaces for rent
As for the second building, it offers professionals and individuals the opportunity to rent open, covered spaces, suitable for storing semi-trailers, trailers, or vehicles dedicated to motor sports. Rentals can be made on weekends, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
With these new facilities, the technopole of the Val de Vienne circuit confirms its attractiveness and dynamism, establishing itself even more as an essential hub for motor sports in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
