The Association of Parents of Boarders and Friends of the Foyer Montéclair (APPAFM) never misses an opportunity to entertain the residents and staff of the specialized nursing home called Foyer Montéclair. On Thursday, April 30, within the premises of the establishment located in Andelot, more precisely under the outdoor awning with ideal weather conditions, such as a wonderfully blue sky, Bibi Milesi and Allan sang for about two hours from the early afternoon. It was a musical delight to listen to songs from the past and present, such as “Aline” by the late Christophe. There were also moving images, such as a caregiver dancing a slow dance with a resident. The applause was enthusiastic. “We offered this moment of pleasure to the residents on May 1, even though it was April 30. We know they particularly love music,” commented Daniel Noirot, president of APPAFM. That’s not all. The direction of Foyer Montéclair, in partnership with APPAFM, has set a next appointment for Thursday, May 7, in the early afternoon. It will be a session of animal therapy, one of the residents’ flagship activities.
