An extraordinary general meeting was called by the local football club, JSBA. The meeting was scheduled for Thursday, April 30, at 7:00 pm at the Club-House at the Léopold Goryl stadium in Aubin.

A rare occurrence worth noting, as it was an extraordinary general meeting, which is exceptional at the end of the season. Normally, it would be an ordinary general meeting.

President Francis Rigal’s decision to convene this meeting was to make modifications to the association’s statutes. The collective goal is to start fresh and prepare for the upcoming season.

Renewal of the Board of Directors

As is tradition, the JSBA’s board of directors was renewed with outgoing members on one side and new members on the other. Six new volunteers are joining the team: Jean-Marc Rome, Mickaël Boyer, Christine Conquet, Thomas Amaral, Guillaume Bousquet, and Morgane Mrozek. They are joining the existing team to revitalize the associative structure. Thomas Amaral, a player at the club, expressed his desire to contribute to the club by sharing his skills, especially with the youth to help them progress as they represent the future.

A future meeting of the board of directors will be organized to establish the new board with the election of the president, secretary, and treasurer.

The opinions of the elected officials

All elected officials want to emphasize the new dynamics driven by Francis Rigal’s leadership in further energizing the sports association. Regional councilor Pascal Mazet expressed his pride in the organization of this extraordinary meeting, stating that it gives a boost to the new dynamics and aims to make JSBA a great club again. In line with this, Aubin’s mayor Jean-Claude Granier expressed his delight with the exchanges that took place during the meeting, showing the volunteers’ eagerness to succeed in their projects and happy to see new faces willing to get involved.
