Renewal work on sewage networks is set to begin on Monday, May 4, 2026, on Boulevard de Créac’h Gwen in Quimper (Finistère).
A municipal decree predicts traffic disruptions due to a narrowing of the road. Parking is prohibited in the work area.
The work is expected to last one month.
Manga: Youth Council Launches Drawing Competition
On Monday, May 4, the “Create Your Manga Cover” drawing competition kicks off. This is an initiative by the Quimper Youth Council.
The competition, in partnership with the media library network of the area, is open to middle school boys and girls.
The theme is “Magical!” Participants have until June 2 to submit their creation on an A4 format (including their name, age, school level, phone, email).
They can drop them off in ballot boxes at various locations:
- Alain-Gérard Media Library
- Penhars Media Library
- Ergué-Armel Media Library
- City Hall
The winners will be announced in June. The top three will receive gift vouchers.
Cinema: Surprise Premiere
On Monday, May 4, the Katorza cinema will screen a surprise film premiere. It is the heart’s choice of the French Association of Art House Cinemas.
Practical Information:
The screening is scheduled for 8:15 pm. Regular cinema rates apply.
