She has still not publicly said the word “yes” but Zendaya may have just confirmed it in a different way. On Thursday night in Los Angeles, during the Black Women in Hollywood ceremony organized by Essence magazine, the Euphoria actress let her hands speak when her lips remained silent. When challenged by the evening’s host Marsai Martin who jokingly asked if she should “send a wedding gift,” Zendaya raised her hands in front of her face, revealing a gold band on her ring finger.
No statement. No official confirmation. Just this gesture, and a knowing smile. But in the current context, it is more than enough. This is not the first time this question has arisen persistently. Earlier this month at the 2026 SAG Awards, Law Roach, Zendaya’s stylist for years, dropped the bombshell on the red carpet. When asked by Access Hollywood about possible nuptials, he replied without hesitation: the marriage has already taken place. The ceremony would have taken place discreetly, away from the flashes and media speculations.
A career ending for fatherhood
While we wait to learn more about the details of this intriguing union, Tom Holland recently made revelations about the future of his career… which depends on his future family life. “When I have children, you won’t see me in movies anymore. I will simply disappear from the face of the Earth,” he recently announced to People.
As you may have guessed, it is possible that the actor will return to “anonymity” or at least a life away from Hollywood once he has children with Zendaya.
A love story built in discretion
Zendaya and Tom Holland met on the set of Spider-Man in 2017, but only confirmed their relationship in 2021, after years of rumors. Since then, the couple has always maintained a certain level of privacy about their personal lives. The first rumors of a secret marriage emerged last month, after several photographers spotted Zendaya wearing what appeared to be a gold band on her left ring finger.
On February 20th, photos published by Page Six showed her with the same ring during an outing in Beverly Hills. According to several sources, the Dune star and the British actor got engaged during the 2024 holiday season shortly after getting matching tattoos, a final nod to their bond.
