Ariana Grande announces Petal, a new album full of life

Ariana Grande, the eclectic and talented American singer, will unveil the eighth studio album of her career on July 31, two years after her last musical adventures.

Fans of the 32-year-old artist have been eagerly awaiting this album for two years, during which Ariana Grande released “Eternal Sunshine” with Republic Records. An album featuring thirteen songs in the pop and RnB universe of the Florida-born singer. For “Petal,” she plans to collaborate again with Ilya Salmanzadeh, known for his previous work with music greats like Taylor Swift.

In a video posted on social media on Tuesday, April 28, Ariana Grande promised to share with her fans a “growing story through the cracks of something cold, hard, and difficult.” The singer will likely showcase “Petal” during her “The Eternal Sunshine” tour in the United States, Canada, and the UK, with ten dates at the O2 Arena in London from August 15 to September 1.

During an interview in 2025 on Amy Poehler’s podcast “Good Hang,” the pop star mentioned that this tour could be her last for a “very long time.” She also mentioned focusing on her acting career in the coming months, including a role in “Father Stu” alongside Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller. This role follows her success playing Glinda in the “Wicked” franchise on the big screen.
