The Osun State Police Command is seeking the public’s help in identifying the family of a 70-year-old woman who was found wandering and reuniting her with her relatives. Police Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, made this appeal in a statement shared with journalists on Monday.
A good Samaritan from Tiwadayo Street, Otedo, discovered the woman wandering in the area. Upon questioning, the woman identified herself as Shifawu Alabi from the Oja-Oba area of Ibadan, Oyo State, but was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for her activities.
The statement from the police urged, “On 24/04/2026, a good Samaritan from Tiwadayo Street, Otedo, brought an elderly woman to the police station who was found wandering in the area. She identified herself as Shifawu Alabi, approximately 70 years old, from Oja-Oba area, Ibadan. She could not provide any clear information about her whereabouts. Please help us reunite her with her loved ones.”
