The institution continues to offer many activities and discovery workshops to the young people of Rodez.
Since the beginning of these school holidays and until Thursday, April 30, the Maison des jeunes et de la culture de Rodez is offering numerous events.
A wide variety of workshops are on the program for all ages, allowing a broad audience to participate. The offered attractions are extensive, ranging from cinema to BMX, Indian dance, and the Minecraft video game. These concepts have been around for many years and are held during all school holidays with new entertainment options offered to provide a changing experience in each session. A new addition this time is the organization of a highlight event around chemistry.
The advantage of these workshops according to the MJC? They are affordable for parents and allow young people to make new connections while opening up to new areas of interest. Their organization is also made possible by the tireless involvement of many passionate volunteers.
In total, over 217 young people are participating in the 32 workshops offered throughout this holiday period. To participate, the cost is 12 euros per workshop per young person, except for the cinema workshop, which costs 30 euros.
However, with the support of Rodez Agglomération, some young members of the Saint-Eloi and Gourgan neighborhood centers can benefit from free access, as specified by the MJC. To take advantage of this, parents must inquire directly at the neighborhood centers. This partnership has been in place since the previous year, with the aim of introducing children to new activities in a fun way.
