Between brutal murders and unexplained disappearances, a mysterious dark series is striking the cutting-edge American scientific community. Faced with this cataclysm affecting space and nuclear experts, the FBI and Congress have opened an investigation amid suspicions of foreign interference.

Here is a dark series that does not fail to fuel the most outlandish conspiracy theories, on the other side of the Atlantic: in recent years, several American scientists and experts who have worked in the space or nuclear field have gone missing. Some of them have even been found dead: prompting American authorities to consider “the idea of foreign interference” and especially to investigate the phenomenon.

“I hope it’s a coincidence,” Donald Trump reacted when questioned on Thursday, April 16. The American president promises answers “within a week and a half.” This Monday, April 20, the FBI and Congress announced that they were going to investigate to clarify this matter. “It seems very likely that something sinister is going on here,” commented James Comer, president of the House Oversight Committee.

The sudden disappearance of a retired general

Altogether, eleven scientists are involved. The case began in June 2022: Amy Eskridge, a 34-year-old woman working on high frequency propulsion and antigravity technologies, was found dead at her home. Shortly before her death, she expressed her fears of being “eliminated” during live sessions on YouTube due to her revolutionary discoveries that threatened conventional energy and space industries. Since then, the list has tragically grown, including experts from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) like Michael David Hicks and Frank Maiwald, as well as renowned physicists Nuno Loureiro and Carl Grillmair, both shot in front of their homes in violent circumstances between late 2025 and early 2026.

The mystery deepens with the unexplained disappearances of highly qualified personnel from strategic sites like Los Alamos or Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The most alarming case remains that of retired general Neil McCasland, holder of state secrets on military space technologies, who disappeared in February under troubling circumstances: he vanished from his home while his wife was away for a medical appointment. Upon her return, she discovered that her husband had left behind his glasses, mobile phone, and connected devices. Only his wallet, hiking boots, and a missing .38 caliber revolver were absent.

Faced with this catastrophe affecting the pillars of nuclear and aerospace research, the American Congress has officially taken on the matter, fearing a coordinated operation.
