Patrick Cosson, 74, entered politics in Ploufragan in 1995. He served two terms before stepping back, then re-engaged as a delegate councilor for Iroise and accessibility. For his new term, after retiring from the civil service, he was appointed fourth deputy to sports. “It’s the position I needed,” appreciates the Ploufragan elected official.

A position that suits him perfectly, as he was president of the SPRS (Stade Ploufraganais Roller Skating) for 20 years. “I joined the rink-hockey club because of my son, who was a junior French champion. When I left, the leaders made me an honorary president. I care about the clubs’ results. I will be present for the rink-hockey Final Four weekend on April 25 and 26 at Haut-Champ.

The septuagenarian reviews sports associations. “I met with the leaders of the Pétanque ploufraganaise to discuss the move to Champ-Bogard. I looked into the issue of the aging synthetic football pitch at Haut-Champ; there is still the finalization of the 3 x 3 basketball court and the cycling track to manage.”
