Amnesty International Accuses Leaders of US, Russia, and Israel of Violating Human Rights

According to the human rights organization Amnesty International, leaders such as Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Benjamin Netanyahu are acting contrary to established international rules and organizations after World War II, creating a world where “war replaces diplomacy.”

“In 2025, Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Benjamin Netanyahu, to name a few, have continued a strategy of economic and political domination through destruction, repression, and large-scale global violence,” said Amnesty International Secretary-General Agnes Callamard during a report presentation in London.

The United States has engaged in “extrajudicial killings beyond their borders,” “illegally attacked Venezuela and Iran,” and threatened Greenland, the report alleges. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has worked to undermine years, decades of efforts to defend women’s rights, according to Callamard, who emphasized that the American and Russian presidents share a worldview that is “deeply racist and patriarchal.”

As for the Israeli government, it has continued its “genocide against the Palestinian population in Gaza, despite the October ceasefire agreement,” the report accuses. Faced with “these brutes and pillagers,” almost all international leaders have shown “cowardice,” particularly in Europe, laments Callamard. The call to action is for states, international organizations, and civil society to reject the policy of appeasement and collectively resist these attacks, as urged by the NGO.
