On Tuesday, April 21st, the cinema Le Family in Garlin will offer more than just a simple screening. At 6:00 PM, the film “Tendre mémoire” will open the evening, with its sensitive look at Alzheimer’s disease and how it gently disrupts lives.
In the theater, it won’t just be about watching. The screening will be followed by a discussion, conceived as an open dialogue where everyone can listen, question, and understand.
Giving references
Around the table, several voices will respond: Dr. Patrick Auzon, a geriatrician, as well as Jean-Claude Lapabe for France Alzheimer 64, Bertrand Capdecomme, a family caregiver, Nicole Paloque, president of ADMR Garlin, and Sonia Zaros, an animator at the Porte du Béarn Nursing Home.
Different profiles for the same reality: that of a disease that goes far beyond the medical field and affects families, loved ones, and daily balances. The aim of the evening is clear: to provide references, without deviation, but without unnecessary dramatization, and to offer a space where conversation flows naturally.
Admission is free. For many in Garlin, this may be a first step.
