Comic Books Honored at the Paris Book Festival
This editorial program will honor comic books, including titles such as “La Bombe” by Alcante and Laurent-Frédéric Bollée, “La 3e Kamera” by Cédric Apikian, and other works that explore history and contemporary realities through the power of graphic storytelling. Novels and biographies will complement this selection, offering additional perspectives on military experience, operations, and history shaped by commitment to the nation.
Meet the Authors of Military Works
The Book Festival will also be an opportunity to meet several authors. Michel Goya, a former military man now a military consultant, will be present on Friday afternoon to discuss contemporary strategic issues with readers. Stéphanie Duncan, a host on France Inter and producer of the Podcast “Espions, une histoire vraie,” will participate in the meetings on Saturday afternoon.
Military writers will also be honored, including Colonel Jean Michelin, author of “Nous les moches,” as well as Colonel Vincent Minguet, author of “Invaincu” and “Se reconstruire par la montagne et par le sport.”
Through its presence at the Paris Book Festival 2026, the Army participates fully in this major cultural event and invites the public to discover works that shed light on military commitment from different perspectives. A time for meeting and exchange open to everyone at the Grand Palais.
